Not sure what everyone else is ordering but the Pork shank is amazing and my wife loves the green and red curries. Best option for any kind of Asian food in town.

This is not Thai food. This is a non-Thai person’s bad approximation of Thai food. None of the fresh tropical herbiness you’d expect. All the protein is unbelievably over cooked. The curry was packed in a styrofoam clamshell so it spilled everywhere. I know COVID sucks and we’re in a resort town but there are easy fixes for both problems! Buy canned curry or grab a couple Thai cookbooks and get plastic delis for curries and soups.

Honestly the worst Thai I've ever had, but the service was friendly. Seems far from fresh ingredients (chicken tasted like it came out of a can), pretty bland, and pricey.

Stopped by mammoth to get pad Thai and green curry. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Horrible tasteless food which is wayyyyy over-priced. Ya it doesn’t have to be authentic Thai food but this place doesn’t even serve actual food.

The yellow curry is very good. Glad I added fried rice. 3 spiciness is good for still being able to taste everything and still have a kick.

Don't loose your Thai craving by going here. I tried pineapple fried rice, it was full of pineapple and very dry Rice. Chicken fried rice - they added grilled chicken which was burnt, dry rice, no taste. Just trying to kill my hunger. And some chicken curry, which was not to remember it's name. Highly recommend to not to visit if you are looking to have some Thai food. Also while checking my credit card bill came to know that my card was charged $20 more than the what I paid at counter.

Had the green curry chicken. It was flavoursome and a really nice change of pace from the greasy food we’ve had on our vacation so far. Service was good aswell.

The food was decent, certainly not good enough for the price. Had pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, spring rolls and some hot tea on the side. The rice, especially did not have a good flavor. Rice grains seemed to be of low quality, overcooked. The atmosphere feels a little stuffy. But our server was very quick and friendly.

Good service, pleasent little restaurant but the food was simply bad. Not flavored properly, wrong ingredients used. I honesty could not have identified this dish if I had not ordered it myself. I love Thai food please please please drive 300 miles south to the best Thai food in America at any one of a hundred restaurants in Thai Town Los Angeles and kidnap a real Thai chef, or cook, or busboy because the busboy is going to at least know what it should taste like.

Not recommended - flavorless and overpriced, the 35 cent ramen from the grocery store is tastier. The service was good and the food was fast but this was simply the worst restaurant food I’ve had in years.

The server was nice and the venue is cute, but the food is absolutely horrible. I love Thai but I'm not super picky and will usually enjoy pretty much any "Asian-inspired" American food. The pad thai was flavorless, the tofu in it was burned, the summer rolls were wrapped in some sort of very mealy-textured rice paper that immediately disintegrated, and the peanut sauce had a bad taste and texture. The food was also very expensive.

Generous portions on the pad thai which was very good, more noodles than filler which is how it should be and they didnt skimp on the protein. We had a shrimp version and veggie, spice level was on point for both. We also had spring rolls which were very good, very light even though fried. The thai ice tea was a little bland but technically that is how its traditionally prepared, I've just gotten use to most other places loading it with half and half. It still tastes very good. Wait staff was super friendly even though we came in late and made for some good conversation. The place is small and has a mellow vibe, limited/varying hours it seems so call ahead to make sure they are open.

The food was delicious and the people that own the restaurant are laid back and attentive. Perfect meal after a long day of boarding. I like what they have going for them. Atmosphere is on point good music. You can look out the window as your eating and watch the lifts running on Mammoth Mountain that's a huge plus as a snowboarder/pops is a skiier and he was also stoked to see the runs as we ate.

I visited Thai'd Up the weekend of Friday, January 18th. I picked up a take-away order. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to find a Thai place in the middle of the Sierra Nevada mountains, let a lone a good one. If you like Thai food, check out this joint!

I’ve never written a restaurant review before, but this was by far the worst Thai food I’ve eaten in my life. Pad See Ew is not made with pad Thai noodles... the food has no flavor. Soda cans cost $3/each when we were told they were bottles. I don’t think think any of these chefs have ever eaten Thai food, or even bothered to google “Thai food recipes.” Whatever I ate wasn’t Thai food. Devastatingly awful

Service was excellent. Friendly and made us feel at home. I am a very clean eater and to eat healthy sometimes you have to compromise flavor. I will say overall this was a very clean meal and the flavor was satisfying enough combined with the excellent service to Merritt five stars. I think this is a local place and overall it's well worth the experience.

"Thai food "This isn't Thai food, first clue was there where no thai looking people working there. Service was pleasant, food was edible but the flavors are just not there. Yellow curry was served in styrofoam container so naturally all the sauce spilled in the takeout bag. Potatoes served with skin, which I have never experienced at a thai restaurant. Flavors missing the lemon grass touch. Thai fried rice resembled more of a Chinese fried rice. Pad thai noodles, where do I start...just don't order it.

Not worth the price for the amount of food and quality (the flavor was very generic, almost like a premade meal. Not terrible, but not great.). Despite choosing our spice levels, there was no heat in any of the dishes we ordered. My panang curry was really sweet and yellow, and I couldn't really taste the panang or kefir lime leaf. It was also mostly rice which was a little disappointing for how expensive it was. The pad Thai had a good amount of food and my boyfriend seemed to like just fine though.
